Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of the Youlala – Terms & EULA Checker browser extension and this website (together, "Youlala"). By installing or using Youlala, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Youlala.
What Youlala is
Youlala is not an artificial intelligence model. It is a browser extension that finds terms of service, license agreements, and similar documents, extracts their text, and asks the AI model already built into Google Chrome (Chrome's built-in Prompt API) to summarize them and highlight clauses that may be surprising or unfavorable. Youlala then displays that output. It is an informational tool only.
Youlala's developer did not create, train, or control that model. Chrome downloads, runs, and updates it, and it is provided by Google under Google's own terms. The quality of every summary depends on that model.
AI output can be wrong
Summaries are generated automatically by Chrome's built-in AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or misleading. Youlala may miss important clauses, flag clauses that are harmless, misstate what a document says, or rate severity incorrectly. Quotes shown as source text are checked against the page where possible, but summaries are not.
Always read the full document yourself before relying on it. You are solely responsible for the agreements you accept and the decisions you make.
Not legal advice
Youlala does not provide legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship. Nothing Youlala shows you is a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer. If a decision matters to you, consult one.
No warranty
Youlala is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that Youlala will be available, error-free, or work on your device.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of Youlala will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of money, data, rights, or opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of, or reliance on, Youlala or its output, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so some of the above may not apply to you. In that case, those exclusions and limits apply to the maximum extent your local law permits.
Third-party documents and services
Youlala analyzes documents published by other companies. Their content and terms are their own, and summaries reflect an automated reading of them, not the views of Youlala's developer. Youlala is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date. Continuing to use Youlala after a change means you accept the updated terms.
